Please Flatten Before Recycling
To recycle plastics, please…
1) Rinse well to remove all product residue
2) Screw or snap on any lids
3) Flatten! This ensures all recyclables fit in our bins and reduces the risk of items flying away.
The WWRA accepts plastic bottles #1- #7, such as milk jugs and detergent bottles, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. We also accept unmarked rigid plastics, such as plastic buckets, soda crates, plastic pallets, coolers, drums, toys and playhouses, plastic flower pots, laundry baskets, empty garbage cans, and plastic pet containers. If you are ever unsure if a plastic is recyclable, please message us or email wwraeduoutreach@gmail.com.
The WWRA does NOT accept thin plastic bags or food packaging. Learn more about thin plastics here
