Sustainable July 4th Clean-Up
It’s time to clean up after July 4th celebrations. How can we do this more sustainably?
1) Do a trash audit! Audits help us ensure that all recyclables ended up in the recycling bin and that all items in the recycling bin are clean and rinsed. To learn more, watch this video.
2) Freese, donate, or give away excess food. This ensures no leftovers go to waste.
3) Reuse as much as you can! Even disposables can be reused if taken care of properly. Consider washing lightly used disposables and using them again.
