Christmas Recycling Tips
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! The WWRA will be closed Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25th. Wednesday’s curbside pickup will be moved to Thursday December 26th, and Thursday’s Curbside Pickup will be moved to Friday, December 27th.
The holiday season often comes with an increase in household waste. This Christmas, try to reduce waste by choosing reusable options and using what you already have. Let's look at what is and isn't recyclable:

- Wrapping paper (not the plasticy/shiny kind)
- Boxes (packing materials removed)
- Gift bags (not the glittery/plasticy/shiny kind or with any decorations)
- Cards and envelopes (not the glittery/plasticy/shiny kind or with any electronics, metals, or decorations)
- Clean and dry disposable aluminum cooking pans
NO
- Christmas lights
- Christmas ornaments
- Christmas Trees
- Styrofoam
- Plastic and paper plates along with the plastic utensils
- Plastic tablecloths
- Bubble wrap, packing peanuts
- Blow up lawn decorations
- Items soiled with food or liquids
- Plasticy/shiny wrapping paper
