Trash being placed the recycling bins and left at the bin sites is a growing concern for WWRA. At the current rate our facility will be processing about 375,000lbs of trash this year costing thousands of dollars to have it disposed of.
Please re-frame from placing plastic bags, food, wood, liquid waste of any kind, no yard waste, no building demolition or houshold waste of any kind. No TVs, microwaves, hot water tanks, tires, water softeners, furniture, appliances or paint. Placing these items in the bins or at the bin sites is considered dumping which is illegal and subject to a $1000 fine.
