WWRA Local Events Recycling Container Program
WWRA has increased its efforts to promote more recycling throughout the
communities and capture more recycling material at local events. WWRA
started a program in the spring of 2008 supplying local events with 55
gallon recycling containers

Chelsea Fair Recycles
Success story: WWRA in a joint venture with the Chelsea Fair Committee
implemented a plastic bottle recycling program during the fair days for
2008. WWRA supplied 55 gallon recycling containers throughout the fair

Trash
Trash being placed the recycling bins and left at the bin sites is a
growing concern for WWRA. At the current rate our facility will be
processing about 375,000lbs of trash this year costing thousands of
dollars to have it disposed
